New Barbie Style Dolls @ Target- REVISED

This is a quick post to share that I found all of the ladies in the new Barbie Style wave at my local Target. They are priced at $19.99 plus tax.

I was checking out Jaye's blog the other day, and she mentioned in a post that she'd bought the new Grace. I'd been checking online for her for the past couple of months without success, so I inquired about the store. I was not surprised to learn that she'd found her at Target. If I remember correctly, that was where I first saw the dolls in the last Style wave. I needed valentines for my homeroom class, so I figured it was the perfect reason to stop by Target. I brought Grace home. Robyn has been waiting patiently for an articulated body. Of course I checked out some of the other dolls, too and noticed that Steven has a new face. I like it! I don't have a Steven in my collection (Mara does), so I may buy one with plans to rebody him in the future.

I'm adding some pictures for anyone curious about the articulation of these dolls..Without shoes she is roughly the same height as the Liv body. With heels, she is typical Barbie height. Her legs open only as much as shown so no Van Damme splits, but she does front-back splits just fine.

  1. Hmm, it must depend on the Target. I was at my Target today and found 4 of the 6 Style dolls. They did not have the Grace or Nikki dolls. I also did not see the new Steven face sculpt, but will have to keep an eye out for him! I did find Grace and Nikki at Amazon.

    1. Did you ask them to check in the stock room? My Target only had one each of Grace and Nikki on the shelf. I didn't like the leg seams on the doll I saw, so I had them check the back and bring out some others for me to see. I saw them on Amazon a week ago, but there was no way I was paying forty bucks for this doll.

  2. My Target only had the Grace and Nikki dolls. I need to check back, that was a couple of weeks ago. I would like to have Raquelle. That is great that you were able to find them.

    1. I like Raquelle's outfit. If you don't see her on the shelf, have an associate check the stock room. They can usually do it from a computer or hand scanner.

    1. "Not that I'm buying anything soon." A doll collector's famous last words- lol Have you seen the new Tris doll from the movie Insurgent? I saw her on Doll Genie shortly after saying the same thing as you, and now I want her. Pity that she isn't articulated, though.

  5. Congrats on finding them. I haven't been looking. Too early in the year for me to start buying dolls. I wouldn't mind having one of those new style bodies. By the way, did you know they closed the Target near Pleasant Hill, across from the Studio Grill movie theater? I drove there last week, thinking I was going to peruse the doll aisle. Not! The Babies R Us is gone, too.

    1. I wouldn't have been looking myself if Robyn hadn't been in need of an articulated body. She's thrilled that she can participate in stories now. Yep, they closed that Target last summer. It's a shame, too because it was one of my favorites. My favorite Toys r Us- the one by Northlake Mall- closed its doors for good last month.

    1. I didn't notice it before, but you're right. I wonder if she got wind of my plans to give her articulated body to Robyn, lol
